        我们的关注对象是极性和动态响应分子基材料体系。研究方向包括:


(1) 极性和结构相变体系:

       研究对象: 极性材料、分子基相变材料。

       研究目标: 发现新的极性和结构相变体系,理解分子间相互作用、晶体结构、相变之间的关联,揭示规律,以指导目标体系的合成和性能优化。重点关注介/铁电相变、光、力等性质。


(2)动态响应分子体系:

        研究对象: 分子转子、主客体化合物。

        研究目标:利用分子和超分子设计,建立主-客体模型化合物,研究体系的动态变化和对外界激励(光、热、力、化学等)的响应,发现新现象、新机理和新材料。



    We focus on polar & dynamic molecular materials, including:


(1)  Polar & structural phase transition systems 

    We try to construct new polar & structural phase transition systems, to understand the correlations among molecular interactions, crystal packing structures, phase transitions and related properties (e.g., dielectric transtion and ferroelectricity, luminescence,  etc.), and to find out rules to guide syntheses and property optimizations of the systems.


(2)  Dynamic molecular materials

    Based on molecular and supramolecular design, we try to construct dynamic responsive host-guest model compounds such as crystalline molecular rotors, to study responses of the molecules to external stimuli (light, heat, force, chemicals, etc) and their dynamic behaviors during the responses, and to find new phenomena, new mechanisms, and new materials in these systems.
